adidas and BAPE Unveil Full Superstar Collection

Teaming up for their first release of the year so far, BAPE and adidas are expanding on their initially teased Superstar pack with a fleshed out apparel lineup led by a reworking of BAPE’s iconic shark hoodie.

After taking time from the classics to work on the modern Orketro silhouette and a basketball collection with Damian Lillard, the Superstar is the latest OG adidas model to be reworked by BAPE, who fuse their own “STA” motif with the near 60-year old design, spread over blue and white leather options packed with characteristic details from both brands.

Aside from BAPE’s centrepiece STA motif on the respective inner and outer panels of the left and right feet, the brand also inputs embossed ABC camo on the uppers, joined by specially branded lace charms to match the signature gold foil branding dotted around the shoe.

The rest of adidas and BAPE’s latest collection is made up of co-branded sportswear, including tees, caps, socks and side bags in monochromatic shades, overshadowed by standout ABC camo tracksuits and a full-zip red/ black Shark Hoodie with adidas’ Trefoil logo on the chest and three stripes down the arms.

Coinciding with the full size run available on the white adidas x BAPE Superstar, the brands will also release a kids-only black ABC camo tracksuit with contrasting red details.
