"Shattered Backboard" Jordan 1 Returning this Summer

As part of their Summer 2021 lineup, Jordan are set to revive a classic colour combo in the form of the upcoming Nike Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Shattered Backboard”.
The "Shattered Backboard" name comes from a legendary moment from Michael Jordan's rookie season. During a 1985 exhibition game in Trieste, Italy, Jordan landed a dunk so ferocious that he managed to shatter the glass backboard.
The black and orange Stefanel Trieste top worn by a young Jordan went on to become a noteworthy piece of sports memorabilia, being auctioned at Sotheby's last year and ultimately inspired the classic colourway.
This upcoming edition comes in a Jordan 1 Low style with majority orange and white panels in full-grain leather and black detailing at the laces, Swoosh and Air Jordan logo stamped at the heel.
The Nike Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Shattered Backboard” is expected to release via Nike SNKRS from 26th August priced at $130. Stay tuned for updates as this exciting release approaches.
