Air Jordan 1 Reimagined "Chicago" Rumored to Return this Holiday Season

Rumored to make a return this holiday season, the Air Jordan 1's most recognizable hues are set to make an exhilarating comeback.

According to sources close to Nike, the OG classic will sport a vintage look which is likely to see an aged midsole, '85 build and distressed upper. The offering will come dressed in the notable “White/Varsity Red/Black” colorway which pays homage to Michael Jordan and the basketball team that forged his career.

As the story goes, back in 1985 the NBA's player gear policy threw fines at Jordan like wildfire for doning the first pair of "Bred" Jordan 1's on the court. Later on, the association gave its stamp of approval to the "Chicago" colorway which went on to become an integral symbol of both sneaker and basketball culture.
