A$AP Worldwide Global Enterainment is the moniker under which A$AP Rocky’s design projects operate. Having collaborated with Vans, Under Armour and most recently Eddie Bauer, the creative agency have revealed a new partnership with luxury car manufacturer Mercedes Benz.
Owning a Mercedes is a symbol of social status - name dropped by everyone from Ye to Kendrick Lamar, pulling up in a Benz shows others that you’ve ‘made it’. The collaborative apparel collection from AWGE and Mercedes Benz aims to embody consumers with that very same feeling.
Comprised of tees, sweats and a snapback cap, the casualwear collection itself comes adorned with Mercedes’ three-pointed star and AWGE’s brash logo.
The self-titled ‘fashion killa’ has always been regarded as one of the best dressed emcees out there, coming up in the New York borough of Harlem forged Rocky’s unique steez, and although dabbling in sporadic merch releases over the years, it seems like Rocky is capitalising on his new position as artistic director of Pacsun with great intention - solidifying himself as a force to be reckoned within the fashion retail sector.
