Balenciaga & Adidas Launch Shoe and Apparel Collection

Having recently unveiled an extensive collection with Gucci, Adidas seem to be on somewhat of a luxury fashion kick. The brand have most recently applied their retro sportswear aesthetic to fellow luxury house Balenciaga for a collection of shoes and outerwear.

The limited collection released shortly after the presentation of the Balenciaga Spring 2023 fashion show - the first American show for the brand in 20 years - held on the trading floor of the New York Stock Exchange.

Touching on Balenciaga's recent penchant for a sports-luxe look and artfully distressed detailing on elevated everyday basics, the collection pulls in inspiration from football strips featuring Adidas' classic stripes and branded "sponsor" logos across chests.

The collection also features striped denim jeans, a selection of womenswear pieces and hybrid takes on their (in)famous Triple S and sock-like Speed Trainers.
