Balenciaga Tease Under Armour Collaboration for Spring '25

Balenciaga has now made various items from its debut collaboration with Under Armour available for pre-order.

Alongside to the vintage-treated, black oversized tees and sweats, Balenciaga has also unveiled bright red versions, in addition to socks and a co-branded cap with a "raw-notched" visor.

Balenciaga is back in the headlines courtesy of an unexpected collaboration with Under Armour.

On Friday, May 24th, the controversial Spanish imprint began peeling back the curtain on what’s in store for its Spring ‘25 collection, using its 14 million strong Instagram account to preview various larger-than-life items that will release early next year.

Besides two separate footwear styles that feature platformed soles reaching heights of 16 and 18 centimetres, the preview also shed light on Balenciaga’s next sensationalistic collaboration involving Under Armour.

Balenciaga announced the partnership by posting a pair of silver hoop earrings bearing Under Armour’s mirrored arch insignia - clearly taking notes from its previous collection with adidas that featured similar styles.

Leaks have since emerged of the apparel attached to the collaboration and as if we’d expect any different, Balenciaga has simply slapped Under Armour’s logo on ridiculously oversized, pre-faded sportswear.

Expect more details to surface when Balenciaga takes to Shanghai this Thursday, May 30th to unveil its full Spring ‘25 collection.
