BAPE x JJJJound “Timeless” Collection Release Details

With 2022 barely in the rear view mirror, Justin Saunders of JJJJound is going full speed ahead, unveiling his next big time footwear collaboration with Bape - this time ditching the monotone stylings of their previous outing for a flash of navy on the timeless BAPE STA silhouette. 

The partnership began in early 2022 with a clean white/ grey combination on BAPE’s premier sneaker model, with JJJJound’s simplistic nature applied through fine leather fabric and metal eyelets, both of which are carried over to the latest collaborative effort from the respective streetwear needle movers. 

On the topic of needles being moved, a heavy tracksuit combination has been stitched down and sewn up to the highest level by Bape’s Japanese craftsmen, alongside two equally logo’d up trucker hats and of course, another Bape Head tee to add to the collection. 

In JJJJound’s previous BAPE feature, the designer opted for ‘tasteful’ lettering on his chosen apparel, where this time the thesaurus suggests “timeless” as a more appropriate description for the classic mix of white and navy, which is found across the entire collection.

The second coming of BAPE x JJJJound will arrive on January 7th, available from both the JJJJound and BAPE online stores.
