With the latest collaboration between A Bathing Ape and Xbox set to drop later this week, the simian streetwear brand has unveiled a deeper look at the pieces featured in the cross-genre collection.
A partnership with history, Bape and Xbox have stuck to their winning formula of familiar graphic staples with a “gamer” spin, materialised here on tees, shorts, plus a hoodie and cap that all bear a special version of the APE HEAD motif that’s been infiltrated by the iconic “X” logo attached to Microsoft’s premier gaming platform.
Leading the capsule is a limited run of Bape’s Road STA sneakers that are decorated with more of the topographical camo print present on the hoodie and shorts, with green piping used as a call to the Xbox team colours. Xbox’s “power your dreams” slogan also appears on the kicks alongside stacked co-branding at the heel.
A Bape-branded Xbox Series S console has also surfaced, however it is unclear if this will be available for purchase.
The latest Bape & Xbox collaboration goes live on Saturday, July 13th, available via Bape online stores. The apparel is priced between (approx.) $100 to $270 USD, where the Road STA comes in at (approx.) $200 USD.
