Brain Dead x Oakley Factory Team Debuts Paguro Mule for Summer ‘23

Brain Dead’s revival of Oakley’s footwear division has single-handily restored the outdoor specialist’s standing in the sneaker world, leaving an array of function-first models in its wake.

So far, the 20+ Flesh Mule and Chop Saw colourways have all sold out upon release and now that the peak of summer is upon us, Brain Dead is opening the door for Oakley to step through with its latest creation - the Paguro Slip-On.

The Paguro is the first silhouette to be exclusively designed from nose to tail by the Oakley Factory Team, taking its name from crustaceans that evolved migrating from shell to shell, which in the mule itself, is realised through the hard-wearing, yet comfortable shell-like construction and capabilities.

The three colourways of the Paguro also take notes from Mother Nature, coming in “Coffee”, “Toad” and “Hummus” tones that all mirror the muddy origins behind the sneaker.
