Carhartt x Converse Team Up on CONS Pack

Carhartt WIP is one of a few brands that aren’t beholden to a single collaborative sneaker deal, having worked with Nike, New Balance and Converse since the early 2000’s - now teaming up with the latter for the first time since 2022 to renew their joint vows of “American heritage at its finest”.

Taking into account the constant nature of Carhartt’s appeal across all ends of the fashion spectrum, footwear projects involving the homegrown USA magnate are always highly sought after and in the hopes of continuing its sell-out run, WIP now is returning to relations with Converse.

Working on the Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star Pro and the One Star Academy Pro Ox models, the memo reads “mixed media” for this latest project, manifesting uppers of thick suede dyed in the same murky tones present throughout Carhartt’s 135 year lineage, brightened via milky white panelling.

Branding comes in the form of usual Converse hallmarks, with a fabric Carhartt tag sat on the outer side of both silhouettes.

As both models fall under Converse’s CONS range, each shoe is fitted with an extended rubber midsole that doubles up as a mudguard, again fitting in with the functional nature of the collaboration’s founders.

The latest Converse x Carhartt WIP collaboration will be available via both brands websites Thursday, June 6th.
