TNF x CDG FW24 collaboration

Comme des Garçons’s streetwear-focused offshoot CDG is reuniting with The North Face to build on last year’s debut efffort by introducing a rare splash of colour to assist the duo’s simple co-branding across a core offering of streetwear goods for the Fall/ Winter ‘24 season.

TNF and CDG are two brands that have become deeply intertwined within streetwear culture, branching out from their respective origins to accommodate all kinds of fashion enjoyer through an almost monopolistic run of collaborations.

As with any co-release from either party, the proud showcasing of their individual badges comes as a factory setting and in this latest link-up between two seriously serial collaborators, the directive is simple…

Branching out from the black and white-ness of their previous outing in 2023, the latest CDG x TNF link-up introduces a deep shade of olive green into the mix, bestowing the lineup of outerwear styles with a more utilitarian, military-leaning interpretation of contemporary streetwear.

Of course, CDG’s intrinsic colours of black and white still play an important role by allowing the contrasting insignias to show a revolutionary, sideways version of the dual branding.

Prime North Face candidates such as the Dome Wind Jacket, Belay Liner and Dome Pullover Fleece are likely to be the most sought-after pieces, followed by the equally minimalistic Heavyweight t-shirts, done up in short and longsleeve variations.

The latest Comme des Garçons CDG x The North Face collection is available now via Dover Street Market and the CDG webstore.

Prices range from $71 to $370 USD.
