Comme des Garçons' Metallic Take on Nike's Air Force 1 Dropping Soon

Comme Des Garcons have released their fair share of Nike’s Air Force 1 over the years, the biggest hit being the “CDG Eye” collection, released in conjunction with Supreme at the height of their reign. 

Teaming up once again, CDG are putting a new spin on the silhouette, this time taking a more avante garde approach to the classic sneaker. It’s still the same white Air Force 1 that has sat in everyone’s wardrobe at some point in time, however the addition of a metal-plated swoosh plastered across the toe box completely changes the perspective on the design. 

The rendition is most comparable to some of the earlier Nike Mercurials, as well as taking hints from the Travis Scott Air Force 1. In reality, both references are a bit of a stretch and only prove the originality of CDG’s design.
