Corteiz Drops Follow-Up Nike Air Trainer Huarache Capsule

Corteiz has just released the follow up capsule to its earlier Nike Air Trainer Huarache collaboration, bringing about a fresh colourway of the leading silhouette, plus a renewed roundup of Swoosh-branded clothing.

Once strewn to the deepest depths of the y2k archives, Corteiz has revived the most functional iteration of Nike’s Huarache that’s complete with an elevated structure and key mid-foot strap added to boost the functionality when on road, for what was originally designed as a proper running shoe, before being adopted into UK street culture.

After already selling out a “flat pewter” colour scheme on the Air Trainer Huarache earlier this month, Corteiz is releasing another muted take on the silhouette, this time in “off white” - again featuring the same neoprene camo under-panels that gel seamlessly with the gum sections on the outsole.

Branding placements lie on the front strap, toecap and heel, where Swoosh and Corteiz iconography is finished tonally in embossed or embroidered forms. There’s also subtle hits of reflective piping and a gold-toned dog tag that comes as standard.

Familiar faces from Corteiz’s mainline catalogue return in colour-coded beige hues, renewing fan favourites like the Bolo Puffer Jacket, Allstarz Knit Cardigan and Royale Tee in appropriate tones to pair with the featuring kicks.

Corteiz and Nike have also put together track tops, trousers and a royal blue jersey to round out the release.
