Gucci Takes on Dickies in Effort to Create the World's Most Expensive Workwear

​​Gucci’s collaboration run in 2022 is like no other; they’ve vultured their way into nearly every subculture, working with the likes of adidas, Palace and even The North Face. 

Gucci’s newest partnership with workwear icons Dickies is potentially their most egregious collab yet, both in price point and nature, as the remnants of Alessandro Michele’s lengthy reign come out of the bejewelled woodwork to showcase a “Guccified” set of Dickies jackets and trousers, which (per item) cost more than some people’s yearly rent.

Possibly the most boujee pieces of “workwear” ever created, the concise collection focuses on the Eisenhower jacket and 874 work pant, which have been studded to high heaven, taking the function out of the styles and concentrating purely on form. 

Also available is the oversized Work shirt, which follows suit with metal detailing along the stitching and pockets.
