Moncler’s Trailgrip GTX caught the attention of gorp-heads and high fashion dappers alike when it was first unveiled a few months back, mainly because it taps into the hiking aesthetic that more attainable brands like Salomon and Hoka have made popular, although in a starkly luxury aesthetic.

If the Trailgrip’s design elements seem familiar, it's because the shoe was designed by Nathan Vanhook, who besides many contributions to Nike sportswear models, is responsible for the wildly popular Nike ACG Mountain fly, which clearly translates onto his latest position at Moncler.

Moncler are by no means strangers to the outdoors, their brand is steeped in harsh, outdoor heritage and the Trailgrip GTX merely marks the next stage of innovation from the French luxury house.

The shoe is not to be mistaken for another throwaway high-fashion design, it serves the purpose of a hard-wearing, long lasting pair of kicks that will see you through the toughest of conditions, while still looking more than acceptable at New York Fashion Week.

Now that the shoe is finally starting to hit the shelves of retailers worldwide, who better to celebrate the release than END. - the final boss of retailers who has a monopoly on the European market when it comes to peddling quality clothes of all creeds and categories.

Available in both men’s and women’s sizing, the END x Moncler Trailgrip GTX arrives in a khaki/ grey palette and is built from a Vibram megagrip outsole that encompasses rugged, hybrid-rubber uppers and durable ripstop underlays. The entire shoe is lined with a hypodermal Gore-Tex shield that promises to keep out the wet while still allowing your feet to breathe. Minute details like the tricolour flag and honeycomb pattern on the tongue and heel accentuate the luxury feel with reflective webbing and lace locks tightly tying the hiking aesthetic together.

Priced at £530, the Moncler Trailgrip GTX - END. exclusive is open for raffle now, enter here.
