The brainchild of skater Daniel Kim, the Stingwater brand applies a whimsical and sometimes surreal aesthetic to their pieces, and their approach to their collaborative Nike SB "Magic Mushroom" dunk is no exception.
The mushroom - a much beloved motif of the brand - is key to the design, from the University Red and white-spotted leather upper to the Friends & Family box made from a special paper which can be used to plant some mycelium friends of your own.
The red and white theme continues across the Stingwater branding stitched in white along the side of the shoe, dripping down by the clear jewel Nike Swoosh detail.
Yet more hidden details include a zip pocket bearing the message "empty your mind" concealed in the tongue of each shoe, a cosy ribbed lining designed to look like the inner gills of a mushroom plus a translucent sole which reveals more secret wording across the bottom of each foot.
The Nike SB Dunk Low x Stingwater "Magic Mushroom" releases at Nike and select retailers from 8am Saturday 8th May for the UK/EU priced at £94.95 and 3pm Monday 10th May for the US priced at $125.
