Stüssy Fall ‘23 Lookbook & First Instalment Release Details

Shortly after releasing the full lookbook for its Fall ‘23 collection, Stüssy has already dropped several items from its freshest seasonal outing.

A focus on outerwear sees the brand’s dice motif appear on various core-coloured quilted bombers, alongside new variants of the ever-popular Beach Shell Windbreaker and a healthy amount of neo-functional jackets that don’t lack on the pocket front.

Accessories include an interlinked “SS” logo blanket, new belts and a ceramic boot vase. Graphic tees don’t take up too much of the latest roster, although expect more to drop as the season progresses.

While Supreme and Palace gain traction with equally buzz-worthy FW ‘23 outings, the last man standing of the streetwear holy trinity is rightfully vying for its slice of the spotlight, as Stüssy has come with its own effortlessly cool roundup of looks to keep timelines busy and bank accounts empty over the coming months.

All three of the aforementioned brands have deep history within the skateboarding sector and although sometimes similar, Stüssy’s latest lookbook is far more laid-back than its competitors’, posting up in an idyllic setting with nothing but blue skies, some old bangers and plenty of California cool ‘fits.

Graphics are few and far between in Stüssy’s Fall ‘23 collection, with a greater focus on outfits as a whole, towing the line between “big shirt, big pants” with boxy jackets, rotund puffers, and no shortage of baggy trousers. 

A restock of the popular Surplus Cargo’s return alongside all-over print denim and an unwavering commitment to double-knee variations. Aside from the ‘sign-print’ jeans and jacket, the same design appears on knitwear, filling out another category that shines in Stüssy’s newest delivery.

Stussy’s “authentic workgear” seal of approval can be found on various jackets and trousers, but makes no bigger appearance than on this cream knitted jumper that displays the motif with ultimate loudness and proudness.

More vibrant knit options can be seen on the lime/ white loose gauge iteration, adding some welcome colour to a layering staple for those who aren’t blessed with California sun year round.

Stand-out items include a red shearling vest, Stüssy Sport letterman jacket and patterned fleece and shorts that are sure to be popular among fans.
