Stüssy's first collaboration with Always Do What You Should Do lands worldwide today, and it is not a soft launch. Stüssy's own release note sets the drop at Friday, August 7 at 10am local — 10am PST in North America, 10am GMT in the UK, 10am CET in Europe, and 10am JST/KST in Japan and Korea — across select ALWAYS shops, Stüssy Chapter stores, alwaysdowhatyoushoulddo.com and stussy.com.
The UK window has already opened, and the ADWYSD webstore shows exactly how the collection is built. Two tee graphics anchor it: the Surf Skate Stack tee in white, black, brown and yellow, and a World Tour tee in white, black, purple and lime — all £69. Above that sit the Stack sweatpant at £166 and the Stack zip hood at £207, with Stüssy-branded boardshorts in black and green at £152 and a crown cap at £83.
Movement has been quick. As of this morning the black, white and purple World Tour tees, the black Surf Skate Stack tee, the black boardshorts and the crown cap are all showing sold out on the UK store, while the yellow and brown Stack tees, the lime World Tour tee, the green boardshorts, the sweatpant and the zip hood remain available. Sizes will thin further through the day.
North American buyers are still waiting: as of this writing nothing from the collaboration is listed on stussy.com, which lines up with the brand's own 10am PST timing. US dollar pricing has not been published yet, so treat the sterling figures above as the shape of the range rather than the American ticket.
For ADWYSD — the label better known lately for its adidas work — a Stüssy Chapter-store rollout is a real step up in distribution. For Stüssy it is another entry in a long line of first-time collaborations that arrive without a long runway.
