UNIQLO UT x Pokémon Cards Launch Tees & Sweatshirts, Catch Em All Now

Calling all aspiring Pokémon masters, UNIQLO UT’s latest collaboration dips into the world of the beloved trading card game. Whether you traded the original 151 or the new gen, the collection of cosy casual wear offers something for grown up fans and kids alike, releasing at UNIQLO today.

The Pokémon franchise and Pokémon Trading Card Game have captivated fans for over 30 years, with an enduring appeal that continues to this day. Fans who grew up collecting the trading cards and playing the strategic two-player game have been able to pass their love for the franchise down to new fans who have a whole new generation of Pokémon pals to collect and battle.

The UNIQLO UT collection references favourite Pokémon from the original set of 151, including Omanyte, Slowpoke, Magikarp, Mewtwo, Snorlax and Gengar. One design honours original card designs for breakout star Pikachu, in the shape of the electric mouse himself.

New gen Pokémon are also represented on the adult’s selection of t-shirts and sweatshirts including Gardevoir and Unown.

The kid’s collection shouts out several more original characters with Lapras, Mewtwo, Charizard, Mew, Eevee all getting their own designs, plus appearances by new favourites Lucario and Mimikyu.

Showing the enduring popularity of the game, the 2025 Pokémon World Championships are about to take place in Anaheim, California, where competitors from all around the globe will battle for the title of World Champion.

Players face off against one another in the three-day event for a combined prize pool of over $2,000,000, the title of Pokémon World Champion, plus a return invitation for next year’s Worlds in San Francisco, California.

The UNIQLO UT x Pokémon Cards collection will be available at UNIQLO retail stores and via the official UNIQLO x Pokémon Cards online store from Monday 11th August.
