Kith Closes the Year with Two Exclusive Salomon Silhouettes

Closing out another year filled with headline-worthy collaborations, Kith has revealed its latest project with Salomon, introducing two new hybrid models brimming with sport-style DNA.

This is only the second Kith x Salomon project to release in as many years, following the duo’s debut outing in 2022 that birthed seasonal editions of the XT-6 GORE-TEX.

The upcoming release spans two new models that both build on archival Salomon designs, with the XT-4K showing a bulked up transformation from its “K-less” predecessor, dropping alongside the XT-Voyager, which is directly inspired by the y2k-era Salomon Adventure 7 boot.

Keeping its shrouded upper, the XT-Voyager is reduced to a low-profile shape characteristic of Salomon‘s crossover styles, placed atop the familiar ACS chassis midsole and signed with Kith and Salomon branding notes on the grey suede mudguard and heel.

The XT-4K, which drops in white or black with red highlights, is the next evolution of the fan favourite XT-4, this time showing an almost exoskeleton-like build with a heavily-treaded outsole, plus reinforced toe and heel sections. The XT-4K sports traditional laces that add a rugged edge when compared with Salomon’s typically favoured quick lace system.

Kith works its moniker into the sidewall construction, also leaving printed signatures at the heel and insole.

The latest Kith x Salomon collection drops this Monday, December 30th via Kith online and physical stores at 11:00 am EST.
