Ronnie Fieg has been teasing an unnamed Salomon silhouette on Instagram for several weeks, and the shoe now has a name. The XT-EVO arrives through Kith's &Kin Fall 2026 collection in two colorways, continuing a partnership that has repeatedly given Salomon models their first public airing through Kith.
The XT-EVO borrows the sole unit from the Salomon XT-6, but everything above it moves in a different direction. Heavy TPU reinforcement covers much of the upper, including a large molded shell that wraps the lower half of the shoe. Sharp panel lines and diamond-shaped detailing break up that protective build, pushing the model toward a more technical read without abandoning Salomon's trail-running foundation.
Salomon's pull-lacing system carries over, though the tongue and laces sit slightly inboard rather than centered. The two colorways take opposite approaches: one mixes black, yellow, red and blue, while the other stays darker in grey and purple.
The pattern here is familiar. Kith introduced the XT-Voyager with Salomon in late 2024 and followed it with a second version earlier this year, a model that has remained closely tied to the retailer since. The XT-EVO looks positioned to follow the same path before any wider rollout.
Both Kith x Salomon XT-EVO colorways release August 7, 2026, through the Kith app, Kith.com and Kith stores as part of the &Kin Fall 2026 collection.
