Prada's Fall/Winter 2026 Bags Land, Led by the Buckle

Prada's Fall/Winter 2026 women's collection is now live at retail, and the bag that carries it is the Buckle. The style is built around a functional belted strap wrapped around the body of the bag, in smooth calf leather with a nappa lining, offered in black and warmer neutral tones. Fall/Winter adds the smallest version yet, compressing the same construction into a compact proportion.

The Buckle is also where the marketing sits. It fronts Prada's "Simple Stories" campaign, directed by Barry Jenkins and starring Hunter Schafer, Troye Sivan, Kelvin Harrison Jr. and Chen Haoyu, which went out at the end of July. On Prada's US site the small leather version with belt is listed at $4,300 and the double-belt version at $4,700, both tagged as runway pieces.

The volume story is Bonnie. The belt-heritage bag that broke out earlier this year has been extended into a full family for the season: mini at $3,000, medium at $3,550, large at $3,800 and extra-large at $3,950, plus a men's version. Where the Buckle is the statement, Bonnie is the one built to sell across sizes.

Around those two, the season's shelf is deep. Route runs $3,500 for the large and $4,600 for the medium tote. Boogie large sits at $3,900, Aimee medium shoulder between $3,450 and $3,650, Carry mini at $2,600, and the medium suede tote at $4,600. Galleria continues as the permanent fixture it has been for a decade.

The runway that set this up showed in Milan in March, the first Fall collection from Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons of the year, and it leaned hard on exotics. Galleria, Bonnie and Passage all appeared in crocodile treatments, part of a wider Fall 2026 season in which croc, studs, fur accents, clutches and deliberately unfastened bags were the dominant accessory ideas. Cleo returned in satin with crystals and in brushed silver leather, alongside a vintage crocodile Bauletto doctor bag in red and Passage in leather with a Re-Nylon flap.
