The time has come for Supreme to reconvene with its favourite American workwear brand for a new collection that imbues the Dickie’s most iconic cuts with just the right amount of irreverent ‘Preme flair.

Now a staple of Supreme’s Fall Winter collections, the brand has been working with Dickies since 2009 — each time delivering slightly modified iterations of classic Dickies shapes that are known to fans as both “aesthetically hard” while retaining the “hard-wearing” soul that has maintained Dickies position as a household name in the American workwear game for over 100 years.

Supreme takes advantage of Dickies’ intrinsic association with durable fabrics for a capsule designed for the skate park, job site, and everything in between, presenting two styles of outerwear alongside cargo pants, heavyweight hoodies, thermals, flannels, and matching caps.

For the first jacket, Supreme draws on various eras in workwear history, combining a faux fur lining with a vertically quilted outer to create the cozy, seasonally appropriate Reversible Quilted Faux Fur Work Jacket.

Although still rooted in Dickies heritage, the second outerwear piece leans more towards Supreme’s unique vision for contemporary work gear, where the brand has incorporated fabric from the gold-standard for toughness at stress points throughout the jacket, which is offered in washed denim, digital camo, and black colourways.

Ready to pair with matching cargo pants and 6-panel caps, the Supreme x Dickies Cordura Work Jacket updates the classic bomber-style pattern with a storm flap covering the zip, extra front pockets, a micro-fleece lining, and hidden ribbed cuffs, finished with exposed rivets for that final hit of pure, unadulterated workwear functionality.

The rest of the capsule covers all bases for winter layering, starting with thermal long-sleeve tees that showcase a metallic interpretation of Dickies’ horseshoe emblem front and centre, joined by zip-up hoodies and hooded flannel shirts that recontextualise the quilted interiors typically found on outerwear examples within the workwear orbit.

The latest Dickies x Supreme collaboration drops this Thursday, September 18, via Supreme’s webstore and physical locations at the usual time of 11:00 am EST.

A release in Asia follows on Saturday, September 20.
