Miu Miu x New Balance Reveal Tennis Capsule for Summer 25

Miu Miu and New Balance have revealed a new collaboration for Summer ‘25, enlisting tennis star Coco Gauff to assist the brands in going beyond high-end suede runners by introducing a fleshed out performance range that’s slated to drop later this year.

With a collaborative history spanning 5 distinct releases over 3 years, Miu Miu and New Balance have carved out their own slice of lavish sneakerdom by applying “made in Italy” design principles to iconic American-born models, namely the 530SL, which last featured in mule format when NB and MM linked up late last year.

Now, the brands are giving ASICS and A.P.C. strong competition for “luxury tennis collection of the year” with their own effort centred around the sport, applying the “Miu Balance” logo stack to familiar footwear models, plus a new injection of apparel and more.

Arriving in time for Coco Gauff’s regional Open tour across Rome, Berlin, and Cincinnati, Miu Miu and New Balance revealed the former US Open winner will model key outfits from their latest collection at the respective competitions.

Gauff will first play at the Italian Open in Rome from May 7-18, where according to Miu Miu, the showcase will begin with a “classically elegant tennis ensemble in a dynamic colour palette of navy and white, with accents of red”.

The capsule itself is made up of base layer tops, skirts, sweatbands, standout silk colour-blocked tracksuits, and special editions of Gauff’s signature Coco CG2 tennis shoe, joined by three new colourways of the Miu Miu x New Balance 530 SL.

The latest collaboration from New Balance and Miu Miu releases September 10 via Miu Miu online and physical stores.
