Scottish skate-golf-hybrid brand and vintage store Pluto of St Andrews has revealed its first capsule fully dedicated to “the gentleman’s game.”

Still rooted in streetwear territory, Pluto of St Andrews (or PoSA) now delves deeper into its core reference point with new golf-focused gear — an inevitable move for Roberto “Tiko” Abitbol, who launched his firm in 2023 after a stint working for the great Palace Skateboards.

The “Pluto” in PoSA is taken from founder Roberto Abitbol’s beloved Great Dane, who also fetaures as the brand’s central mascot, while “St Andrews” nods to the historic town and its iconic golf club.

Situated in the Scottish county of Fife, The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews is widely regarded as the birthplace of modern golf.

Its approximate 500-year lineage and eventual governance over the professional side of Golf make it one of the most respected institutions in the sport, in turn creating opportunity for a fresh player to make its name in the golf-adjacent apparel game, which is exactly what PoSA has been working towards over the past two years.

The latest capsule from PoSA brings forth familiar graphic tees and sweats clearly informed by Roberto Abitbol’s background in skate culture, mixing the brand’s mascot with hand-sketched interpretations of golf-related imagery.

Beyond the usual graphic fare, PoSA introduces classic-collared tops, formal-leaning trousers, and contemporary windbreakers that meet strict golf dress codes — instead relying on subtle, vintage-inspired details, materials, and cuts to stand apart from your grandad’s tartan trousers or bobbled beret.

Essential links companions also feature in the drop, comprising two styles of headcover and a personal hand towel, all bearing PoSA’s brash insignia.

Pluto of St Andrews’ “PoSA Golf” capsule launches today, Thursday, July 31 at 17:00 BST, available to shop via the brand’s website.
