Last week saw many high-profile streetwear releases. Noah dropped a laid-back Vans collaboration, skate powerhouses Stüssy and HUF came together to honour one of the community’s founding fathers in Keith Hufnagel and Balenciaga stole the headlines (again) with a divisive Adidas collaboration that was incredibly Slavic in style, although priced as if it was made from panda hair.

Besides the aforementioned drops, three noteworthy sneaker collaborations surfaced online, reviving partnerships that, in the past, have never missed their marks.

size? revealed that they are once again working with terrace-tailors Adidas, revisiting the “City-Pack” through a nifty homage to the famous series that has graced the shelves of the European retailer for 10 years, over 12 different releases. Each previous pack referenced cities from all over the world - be it London or Shanghai, the suede and leather vessels assumed the flag, or sports team colours relevant to their namesake location.

Over a decade on from the initial release, size? are opting for a one-shoe pack that covers its three-striped predecessors in one fell swoop.

Rather than focusing on just one city, the MMXX or "10/20" honours its older siblings through multi coloured stripes and a slew of lace options as a nod to the same colours used in the previous city pack releases. Look for the drop on size? access - raffle ends Thursday, June 2nd.

Stüssy’s upcoming Converse collaboration also surfaced on leak accounts across Instagram.

Everyone knows Stüssy’s preferred shoe collaborator is Nike, however their latest Chuck ‘70 sees the Californian street brand revisit relations with the wider swoosh family for an ultra-minimalistic take on one of Converse’s premier silhouettes. The shoe is just like any other pair of Converse high’s, although stripped back (as if that was even possible), to feature a tonal badge where the all-star insignia would usually lie, with a more playful graphic on the oblique that looks like it’s straight from the Shawn Stüssy sketchbook - fusing his pointed crown graphic with the classic Cons star. Currently, no release date has been publicised, however sources indicate we can expect to see these drop before the end of the summer.

Finally, we re-visit the adopted abode of Giancarlo Esposito, where Kith set up shop for their summer ‘22 campaign, to look at the New York firm’s soon-to-be released New Balance collaborations - proving that Teddy Santis isn’t the only Empire Stater with skin (or suede) in the New Balance game.

The 990 v1, 2, 3 and 4 all featured in the effortlessly-cool lookbook, giving us a trip down memory lane to the collaborative Kith x New Balance colourways of old, such as the “Daytona” (seen on the v3) and “Cyclade” (seen on the v2). Kith’s previous works with United Arrows are adduced on the v4, with flashes of pink and purple in-between grey overlays. Last but not least, the 990 v1 features a dusty pink palette, offering a more uniform design when compared to its other pack members. An official release date on Kith’s next New Balance collaboration is imminent, so stay tuned to @supreme_leaks_news for more information.
