adidas Gear Up for Christmas Movie-Themed Shoe Capsule with Duo of Forum Lows

With Christmas just around the corner, adidas is gearing up two new editions of their Forum Low silhouette, the most Instagrammable shoe to come from the brand with the three stripes in recent times, which in true Christmas fashion is now paying tribute to some of the most iconic festive films ever made.

The latest to be revealed takes cues from one of the worst on-screen examples of parenting. 

After already doing number one justice last year, the “Home Alone 2” Forum Low aims to imitate the melancholy “Pigeon Lady” with its cool grey plush suede and leather uppers, brightened by soft burgundy lining, with nods to the dialogue on the “Hiya Pal” lace charm, quoting the Sticky (or Wet) Bandits and the film’s typeface on the tongue tag, which sits behind the adidas/ NYC skyline logo. 

All that’s missing is a few sadistic traps and a cameo from Donald Trump.

The other seasonal output could only be described as a real ”mean one”, even rivalling the furry madness of Nike’s CPFM Dunk Low. Of course, we are referencing the Grinch, who’s like is better captured on the Forum Low, with a blanket of fuzzy lime suede and a tonal sole, finished with a sack-full of lace accessories and a pair of scowling eyes on the tongue patch. 

The adidas Forum Low “Grinch” releases on December 1st for a retail price of $120 USD. The “Home Alone 2” version drops two days later on December 3rd, both will be available on adidas.com.
