Adidas Skateboarding Debuts the Superstar ADV Crafted by Kader Sylla

Adidas and skateboarding have walked hand-in-hand for decades on end with the best in the field donning its gear on and off the ramps. Now the footwear giant is adding another emerging name to its collaborative roster. The label has tapped on Pro skater Kader Sylla to add a special touch to the classic Superstar ADV.

The 19-year-old talent is on the rise and has been dominating the community's wheels left and right. The skateboarder recently joined the Adidas team, allowing him to travel the globe with his best pals on one side and his board on the other. Adding to the partnership, Sylla has put a spin on his favorite Adidas silhouette to celebrate the notable union.

Maintaining the classic body of the Superstar, Sylla has introduced black-on-black monochromatic hues with added touches of gold throughout the pair. Its construction features dark-colored tumbled leather with Adidas' recognizable three-stripes branding and heel tab made from pony hair.

Just above, the skateboarder's surname is seen in a contrasting gold accent along with the label's stamp set at the tongue. To make the offering that much better, the unique pair features integrated ADV technology that assists with an improved fit, boardfeel and added comfort to make every ride as smooth as possible.

The Superstar ADV by Kader Sylla releases today on Adidas's website retailing for $100.
