Adidas Skateboarding Reveals A.B. Adidas by Blondey Collection

As Adidas continues to grow its roster of innovative skate talent, its union with Pro team rider and THAMES MMXX founder Blondey has proved to be a clear stand-out.

The 24-year-old Londoner has made his love for the three-stripped label clear as his previous series of collaborative see-through Superstars delivered a wave of excitement to both parties.

Releasing on March 30th, the skater has teamed up with Adidas Skateboarding on a footwear and apparel collection inspired by the sleek fashion of ‘80s football. The capsule brings together Blondey’s British roots with historic pieces found deep in Adidas’ 70-year-old archive.

The footwear offering presents two pairs of the A.B. Gazelle Indoor by Blondey in grey/gum and blue/black colorways. The sneakers see the classic Spezial remixed with the Adidas Indoor Super. A nylon-based upper dons clear TPU detailing alongside nubuck hits at the mudguard, heel and three stripes at the medials. Blondey branding is placed in silver beside the latter while a slightly translucent sole unit brings everything together.

The apparel line features a reflective Jousting Jacket, branded sweater, jacquard jersey and dual-branded acid yellow performance socks.

The A.B. Gazelle Indoor by Blondey in grey/gum will release on March 30th via thamesmmxx.com and the Adidas Confirmed app on April 2nd.

The blue/black pair and apparel collection will launch on April 20th via the Thames website and on the 22nd through Adidas and select skateshops worldwide.
