Wales Bonner & adidas are back for Spring Summer ‘25

adidas and Wales Bonner have released their first collection of 2025, this time benching their star pupil, the Samba, in favour of an entirely new design dubbed the WB Karintha Lo, releasing alongside distinctive updates to established household favourites.

Developed exclusively for the latest instalment in adidas and Wales Bonner’s ongoing partnership, the WB Karintha Lo represents the culmination of five years of successful synergy that has greatly benefited the wider resurgence of countless beloved three-stripe models.

The WB Karintha Lo is almost a neo-Frankenstein reimagining of every adidas shoe reinvented by Wales Bonner thus far, featuring a low-cut, unstructured shape atop an equally distinct rubber sole unit most reminiscent of Wales Bonner’s previous subject: the Samba Millennium. The WB Karintha Lo debuts in two makeups: light brown suede and a standout all-over sequin option.

The release also includes high-top Superstars, stripped of their typical white-and-black leather makeup by Wales Bonner, who instead opts for two muted suede colourways that feature gold foil detailing and mattified shell toes.

Once an easily replaceable poolside style, the humble Adilette slide receives a major overhaul that involves shifting part of its production to Brazil, where Wales Bonner has enlisted the assistance of expert hand-weavers to give the Adilette braided leather forefoot panels, which are set on matching footbeds and all-new durable rubber outsoles.

Aside from the winning formula of exotic material choices paired with heritage-rooted footwear, adidas and Wales Bonner are also releasing an aesthetically-matched lineup of apparel to boot.

Wales Bonner’s vision of retro adidas sports gear appears sharper with each release, this time incorporating rich shades of burgundy and “night” navy, highlighted by soft whites and bright blues over laid-back sportswear classics and true vintage-inspired coastal outerwear.

adidas and Wales Bonner sign off with a large Bowling Bag in rich brown suede and a smaller version constructed from smooth leather that are both finished with signature gold foil branding on each side.
