Aimé Leon Dore Opens Pre-Orders for Latest New Balance 993 Collaboration

First teased in the campaign for Aimé Leon Dore’s Porsche 993 Turbo collaboration, the brand has now opened up pre-orders for a complimentary take on the New Balance 993.

ALD’s Porsche collab centred around a custom 993 Turbo that acted as the as the muse for a wider collaborative capsule, spanning leather jackets, tracksuits and accessories bearing the ubiquitous emblem of the Swabian automobile experts, alongside Aimé Leon Dore scripts and motorsport-themed graphics.

When drop day rolled around, one item teased in the collaboration’s campaign was noticeably missing and much to the joy of the crossover ALD/ New Balance faithful, Christmas is coming early (one year early, to be exact) as the awaited 993 shoe is now available for pre-order.

Continuing with its pre-order model, where customers can avoid the pitfalls of modern sneaker drops by securing their shoes months in advance, Aimé Leon Dore is making the collaboration available to anyone that wants a pair at retail, opposed to the usual, oft-hectic drop days and crapshoot raffle systems.

The Made in USA silhouette comes outfitted in ‘Mulberry’ green suede, accented by tan leather linings that are perforated as homage to the timeless steeze of vintage sports cars. Custom heel inserts indicate more Porsche inspiration and come to life on the brass keychain attached to the shoe.

Bright white laces match the tongue embroidery and “N” emblem outline, adding an athletic touch to a design that is otherwise steeped in pure elegance.

The Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 993 is available for pre-order via the brand’s website.

The shoe is priced at $220 and is expected to ship in Q4 2025.
