Atmos Reveals Exclusive “Bāṅdhnū” New Balance 1000

Longtime partners Atmos and New Balance are set to drop a new collaboration, this time presenting a bandana-upper take on the recently revived 1000.

The latest Atmos-exclusive New Balance collaboration arrives as a hidden gem amongst the Bostonian brand’s 2025 “Grey Days” celebrations, where it looks to past heritage while celebrating progressive innovation, manifested through a series of limited makeups rendered in signature shades of “NB grey”.

Atmos is one of a few retailers who have collaborations scheduled with New Balance during its 2025 Grey Days festivities and although it doesn’t exactly match the overarching theme, the “Bāṅdhnū” 1000 is still a main attraction at Atmos flagship stores in Tokyo, where it is currently previewed amongst special “Grey Days” installations, erected by Atmos as a way to celebrate the cultural significance of New Balance in its homeland.

Sporting a sleek black construction highlighted by panels bearing a white “bandana” pattern, Atmos pays direct homage to the originators of the design through the “Bāṅdhnū” moniker, which is taken from the Hindi language.

It is also reported that Atmos will include a matching “Bāṅdhnū” handkerchief with random purchases.

Priced at $180 USD, the Atmos x New Balance 1000 “Bāṅdhnū” is available via raffle entry on Atmos’ website.
