BAPE and Hot Wheels Are Off To The Races With a New Capsule Collection

Turn the key, shift your gears and start your engines because BAPE and Hot Wheels are speeding through with a new racing-inspired capsule collection. Joining forces for the first time in history, the offering merges their shared DNA and the genre-defying styles that define them. 

In the apparel department, Ape head tees are splattered with vintage racing graphics in tones of olive, red and blue, paying tribute to car culture and Hot Wheels' 50-year history. Brand logos are combined into classic prints reminiscent of dash emblems, while trucker caps are decorated with checkered flags and patches.

Completing the collection is a collaborative diecast car model based on the custom 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL. Its design features A Bathing Ape logos on the hood, gull-wing doors and rear and is wrapped in BAPE's ABC Camouflage. The collector's item is delivered in a branded acrylic box for added protection and display options. 

The BAPE x Hot Wheels capsule collection is available now via BAPE's website and retailer stores. Prices range from £59 for the model car to £105 for t-shirts and caps.
