Ben Affleck Spotted in Travis Scott x Nike Air Jordan 1 “Chicago” (Maybe)

As part of the press tour for his upcoming movie AIR, Ben Affleck and his co-stars have been bringing on-feet heat to their various interviews…

AIR is a dramatisation of the events that led to the historic signing of Michael Jordan as the face of Nike’s basketball division and the later inception of the Jordan brand as we know it. Matt Damon takes on the role of Sonny Vaccaro - the man at the centre of signing MJ, while Affleck stars as Phil Knight, co-founder of Nike, alongside an ensemble cast of Viola Davis, Chris Tucker, Jason Bateman and Marlon Wayans.

While press tours are nothing new when it comes to triple-A titles, it is the footwear choices of the AIR cast members that have caught the attention of sneakerheads - most notably Academy-Award winner Ben Affleck, who just stunted on them all after stepping out in what could be a truly gold-dust-like pair of ‘Chicago’ Travis Scott x Nike Air Jordan 1’s.

At a glance, there’s no reason not to believe that the backwards-swooshed, semi-bred 1’s have come straight from the Beaverton vault, however it has since been confirmed that the pair is a 1-of-1 custom, created by SD Footwear - the same artisan who crafted the replica Jordan 1’s from 1985 that appear throughout the film. 

Affleck had previously been spotted wearing two more pairs of Travis Scott x Nike collabs, donning the Blue/ Black/ White Air Jordan 1 Lows in the wild and recently appearing on Complex Sneaker Shopping in the Cactus Jack Air Force 1’s.
