UPDATE - 10/03/2025:

Thanks to confirmation from Nike SNKRS, we now have detailed information on Bode’s latest collaboration with Nike, which was first revealed in February as part of the brand’s residency at the inaugural GQBOWL event.

Bode and Nike first joined forces in early 2024 to bring about the Bode Rec. subdivision, a concept founded by Emily Adams Bode Aujla that celebrates Nike’s sportswear heritage and the hand it played in the evolution of athletic apparel, driven by Bode Aujla’s personal experiences growing up around team sports and the shared connection between Nike founders Bill Bowerman and Phil Knight.

The Bode Rec. sub-label resurfaced in February, when Bode took over the inaugural GQBOWL event for Super Bowl Weekend to reveal new wares, including two fresh colourways of its Nike Astrograbber - the vintage inspired multi-purpose design that earned the initial Bode x Nike collaboration sell-out status when it dropped in May last year.

The latest Nike x Bode Astrograbber will release in two parts.

Drawing on the home colours of the university of Oregon, the first Astrograbber will release exclusively via Bode on March 14, featuring a green leather base highlighted by black swooshes, laces and outsoles.

Coming in a special black woven textile, the second colourway drops via Nike SNRKS on March 21.

Both designs feature the archival Nike waffle sole, along with Bode-branded tongue tags and a bronze-toned, removable American football charm attached to the lacing.

More campaign imagery for the collaboration can be found here, showing Nike athlete Ja'Marr Chase sporting both new colourways of Bode’s Nike Astrograbber.

ORIGINAL ARTICLE - 09/02/2025:

Coming to fruition as part of this year’s Superbowl Weekend festivities, NYC’s Bode took the opportunity to headline GQ’s inaugural “GQBOWL” event in New Orleans with a preview of its Spring 2025 collection, where key themes from the capsule were unveiled alongside a show-stealing successor to the sought-after Nike x Bode Astro Grabber.

Ditching its usual stomping grounds of New York Fashion Week, Bode took full advantage of GQ’s Super Bowl push by transforming the once-sacred grounds of the Hotel Peter and Paul into a fitting stage that embodied founder Emily Aujla’s bohemian-prep inspiration through gymnasium-esque decorations, parade floats and all-round tangible varsity spirit.

Tapping into different eras of American prep culture, the formal baseline of Bode’s Spring 25 attire was garnished with everything from embroidered silk sashes to kitschy graphic tees, where the brand gave it the “old college try” with regal band coats and the same kind of crested blazers reserved for the top flight of America’s beloved school sports scene.

The highlight of the show was the awaited follow-up to last year’s Bode x Nike Astro Grabber, which was modelled by NFL stars Ja'Marr Chase and CeeDee Lamb, who respectively donned green/ black and blacked-out colour schemes of Bode’s luxe interpretation of the archival Nike design.

Expect release details on the 2025 Bode x Nike Astrograbber to surface soon.
