Everything Dropping this Week at Corteiz

Homegrown UK firm Corteiz has been stronger than ever since its milestone link-up with Nike, which attracted a global fan base to a brand that is already at the top of most European streetwear acolytes’ lists.

Despite the mass hysteria surrounding Corteiz, leader Clint is not straying from the formula that made the brand what it is today. Similar to how Virgil grew Pyrex by simply printing a recognisable graphic on wardrobe essentials, Corteiz uses its Alcatraz branding to great effect, going even further by creating standalone pieces that will slot into any modern wardrobe.

The latest drop takes another tracksuit-heavy stance, consisting of four matching sets that swap between sweats, guerrilla-inspired iterations and cozy velour.

Now that sweater weather is nigh, CRTZ looks to rule the knit world by doing its own take on the mohair jumper, yielding a black, yellow and green camo mix, pictured here alongside a yellow full zip.

Moving away from traditional sweatery, Crtz has also readied a bountiful selection of tees and tops, including three army green base layers and four white tees that all bear ’Corteizified’ motifs.

Confirming this year’s continuation of the Football shirt trend, Corteiz has taken inspiration from the golden age of kits to recreate a mid-90’s Boca Juniors home shirt, although shaking things up to include a barely-there tiger graphic and of course, the brand’s abbreviated title on the badge.

Finally, roadmen and women can rejoice at the puffer and shell jacket options that this week’s drop provides. Starting with the waterproof - a neon orange base acts as the background for a repeated CRTZ script, black zips, a tonal Alcatraz badge and “ELITEWORK” in a bold style reminiscent of Gore-Tex branding.

The down jacket is a rare example of minimalism from CRTZ and features a zip/ button-up fastening and small Corteiz wordmark on the chest.

Corteiz’s latest drop goes live this Sunday, October 15th at 19:00 GMT on the crtz.xyz website.
