First Look: Dior x Cactus Jack Summer ‘22 Collection

After being indefinitely postponed, Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack x Dior collaboration has finally been revealed, detailing a fully fledged selection of similarly styled pieces, evoking Travis’ own unique, dishevelled aesthetic on wardrobe statements that still retain the luxe quality that Dior is famous for. 

Standout pieces from the collection include rough and ready takes on the classic varsity letterman jacket, coming equipped with a silky over-collar and all manners of patching dotted throughout the garment(s). 

An amalgamation of the Dior and Cactus Jack logos is prevalent amongst most of the pieces in the collection. This white tee features said insignia on the front, where the black, painted sweatshirt showcases less legible lettering on the left breast. 

Amongst the upper body offerings, an equally extensive sneaker lineup was shared. Many have been salivating at the prospect of the (blatantly) Osiris inspired B713 sneakers that are set to release in a slew of colour palettes, offering both vibrant and more toned down iterations of Dior’s take on a good old fashioned skate shoe. 

Also teased in the footwear department, a pair of canvas high tops coordinate branding with the previously mentioned Pollock-esque sweatshirt, with another design counterpart materialising in a pair of toe-less mules that match the varsity jackets in their extravagant use of badges, finished off with a Dior branded rollercoaster buckle.
