First Look: Rimowa x Adidas NMD S1

Making its footwear debut, German luggage manufacturer RIMOWA is stepping into the world of kicks. Leaked images have surfaced of an upcoming pair that marks the label’s first-ever collaboration with Adidas, courtesy of @solebyjc on Instagram.

Setting its touch on the relatively new NMD S1, RIMOWA opts for a muted yet dynamic design. The upper is outfitted in a flexible PrimeKnit upper that arrives in a subtle grey tone.

Its sock-like construction includes Adidas’ classic three stripes logo at the sides and added touches of orange at the heel and rope laces. An off-centered tongue tag and pull tab at the rear don RIMOWA branding while a semi-translucent midsole finishes the design accompanied by Trefoil-shaped traction grips on the outsole.
