GAP x Dapper Dan Reunite for Follow-Up Hoodie Capsule

GAP and Dapper Dan are back with another hoodie drop, continuing the success of their initial outing back in March.

Dapper Dan’s rise from hood tailor of the 90’s, to face of the brand he would bootleg from most had been a longtime coming. After finally receiving his flowers from Gucci in 2019, Dan has become a global icon for bridging the gap between high fashion and the everyday consumer, making him a perfect fit for a GAP collaborator.

Already selling out their maiden coral pink iteration, Dapper Dan is once again remixing the varsity freshness of the classic sweatshirt, this time plastering blackwatch, yellow and red check print over the garment. 

A light caramel coloured houndstooth version rounds out the quartet of hoodies, which are all adorned with the “DAP” lettering, an amalgamation of Daniel Day’s “dapper” moniker and the ubiquitous GAP logo - three simple letters which have long been woven into the fleece-backed tapestry of fashion.

Having already released in Japan, expect the Dapper Dan x GAP capsule to drop stateside in the coming weeks.
