HAL Studios Tease Second Asics Gel-1130 Collaboration

The HAL Studios x Asics collaboration was the sleepiest of sleeper hits to come out in 2022. What could be likened to JJJJound’s Australian counterpart, the small design outlet, headed by John Bouquet, specialise in minimalism, be it stripping back a classic pair of Asics or pouring their efforts into the articulation of everyday staples. HAL, or Highs and Lows are experts of their craft and are only now getting the shine they deserve, after unveiling a second collaboration on the Asics Gel-1130.

Code named “Forest”, the latest effort from HAL and Asics retains the same design ethos of varied textures and a flowing palette. With a “foresty” mesh base, suede ensues in green and black tones, with white and brown leather injected along the eyestay. A miniature Asics logo resides on the outer portion of the shoe, with a co-branded swing tag included for all the collectors out there.

It also appears that two coordinating lots of socks will be along for the ride, in brown and green colourings that pair perfectly with the shoe’s palette.
