Haute Wheels: Gucci Design Slick Gucci Hot Wheels Car for Mattel

With Gucci celebrating their 100 year anniversary this year, the brand have worked on a series of playful projects - including their upcoming Aria collection in collaboration with fellow luxury brand Balenciaga - the most recent of these being a limited edition Cadillac Seville collectible car with Mattel's Hot Wheels.

The collaboration celebrates a real moment from Gucci's outlandish history where a limited run of Gucci Cadillac Seville cars was produced in 1979, designed by Guccio Gucci's son, Aldo.

This miniature edition preserves most of the same details as the original model including a Gucci hood ornament plus monogrammed Gucci top, upholstery and plated steering wheel sized down at 1:64 scale.

The collectible also comes packaged in a flocked Gucci green box plus a special acrylic display case.

The Gucci x Hot Wheels Cadillac Seville model is set for release from Monday 18th October, 9am PT priced at $120.

The car will be available via Mattel Creations and the  Gucci webstore as well as select Gucci locations in New York, Beijing, Seoul and Tokyo, plus the Gucci Cartoleria in Milan and the Gucci Circolo in London, Berlin and Milan.
