Nike SB has seen an uproar of collaborative unions this year, coming together with a wide range of successful personalities, including skateboarders, shops and organizations to set their touch on classic models. Thus far, we have seen recent D.C. addition Crushed Skate Shop place marbleized Swooshes on an SB Dunk Low, while Chicago-based community Froskate took the Dunk High and drenched it in "all love, no hate" motifs.

Now, early imagery has popped up hinting at a release of a Why So Sad? x Nike SB Dunk Low to come later this year.

Launched in 2017 by pro skater John Rattray, Why So Sad? is a non-profit organization that raises funds for mental health awareness, aiming to de-stigmatize subjects around depression, anxiety and suicide.

For his collaboration with Nike SB, Rattray opted for an SB Dunk Low, choosing to outfit the silhouette in navy and pale blue panels. The profile Swooshes may appear simplistic, but wear them down, and they'll rub-away and showcase a yellow coating underneath.

Additional details include a chicken figurine riding a skateboard at the heels - a trademark seen on previous John Rattray merchandise - and icy translucent outsoles.

Release details have not been announced yet, but expect details to emerge in the coming weeks.
