Ibn Jasper and Converse Reunite for a Racing-Infused Collab

Known as Kanye West's go-to stylist in his College Dropout era, Ibn Jasper and Converse have come together once again to continue their outstanding partnership. Following his previous collaboration executed as a laceless Converse Pro Leather a few years back, the pro barber and designer has returned for a racing-inspired take on the One Star Ox skate shoes.
The design takes inspiration from automotive sports and Jasper's favorite television series, “Overhaulin'", which saw a team of mechanics refurbish junk autos into unique custom cars. Two pairs arrive in black and white tumbled leather uppers with snakeskin accents at the heels, tongues and overlapping mudguard and heel panels. Checkered flags adorn the tongue tabs, and tire pressure markers are placed above the midsole. Nylon straps are seen at the medials and act as secure bands for rope laces.
The Ibn Jasper x Converse One Star Ox skate shoes will be available on March 20 on converse.com and select retailers worldwide for $150.
