J. Balvin’s Latest Nike Air Jordan 3 is Finally Here

J. Balvin’s second Nike collaboration is fast approaching and ahead of the release, the superstar has shared the campaign behind his next effort with the Jordan brand, continuing to pay homage to his origins whilst climbing the numerical ladder of Air-packed treads by taking on the third generation model for what many are calling the best silhouette yet to come from Balvin‘s partnership with Le Swoosh.

The latest Jordan 3 borrows notes from both of Balvin’s previous collabs - using the multicoloured motif from the 1 and pattern positioning from the 2, yielding a ”coconut milk” leather construction with a sunset-esque design on the heel tab and midsole - a feature that has been included by the Medellín native as a call-back to the mesmerising views present in his hometown.

J. Balvin’s lightning bolt smiley flies amongst the sky of the right heel tab, with yellow-tinged eyelets and a faint elephant print completing the array of added features.

Alongside the highly anticipated kicks, a clothing capsule modelled after Balvin’s own wardrobe will also be available and besides a select few items, presents a laid-back appearance that would ultimately allow the ‘star of the show’ shoes to shine if paired properly.

Core staples aside, a hoodie and oversized tee show an all-over gradient print that aligns with the sunset inspired theme present in the Balvin 3’s, while the leather vest nods to the artist’s status as a modern day rockstar.

The full J. Balvin x Nike Air Jordan 3 collection will be available via SNKRS on Saturday, September 23rd at 15:00 EST - the shoes will be available in a full family size run and the apparel comes in men’s and women’s sizing.
