After a set of notable collabs with New Balance and Reebok, Montreal-based design studio JJJJound have now revealed a surprise footwear collaboration with BAPE.

Teased only with the caption "JJJJ BAPE SS22", the photo shared to the JJJJound Instragam account gives a preview of the upcoming release sat on top of a co-branded box in BAPE's signature camo print.
Known for their minimalist aesthetic, the collab appears to take a similar approach to the previous JJJJound x Reebok Club C 85 shoe; preserving the key features of the BAPE STA style but with a sleek makeover in subtle cream and soft grey detailing.

The shoe also features a luxe-looking cream pebbled leather overlaid with the BAPE STA star branding and thicker rope laces, finished with metal aglets at the lace ends.

Release details for JJJJound x BAPE STA shoe are not yet confirmed but a release is possible via the JJJJound website followed by select stockists in Spring 2022.
