Kanye West DONDA Album Listening Party Merch Reselling Online

Merchandise t-shirts sold at Kanye West's DONDA listening party earlier this week have begun to resell for several times their value online, with some lots listed for $1,000.

The longsleeve tees were available for sale exclusively at the listening event held at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on Thursday night. The cream t-shirts featured the Mercedes-Benz logo and event details on the front while the back shows a childhood picture of Kanye's late mother Donda West who inspired the album's title.

The shirts retailed at the event for $120 and have begun to trickle online for resell with listings of the tees looking for up to $1000, with tops selling on average for $300-$400 each. It was rumoured initially that the shirts would be a free gift for ticket-holding attendees at the show. Fans noticed upon purchasing however that the transaction for the merch went to "Dreamchasers Atlanta", a non-profit organisation that provides financial and educational services to underserved communities.

While the DONDA album was expected to release in its entirety after the show, fans are still waiting for the album to release on streaming platforms. The album - containing features from Travis Scott and Jay-Z among others - is rumoured to have been delayed until 6th August while additional changes are made.
