Kanye West's 1 of 1 Goyard Bag is Available for $100,000

Kanye West‘s custom Goyard bag has surfaced online, selling for a whopping $100,000.

Despite his flaws, no one can deny that Kanye West’s taste level is out of this world, with so many iconic fashion moments under his belt, it’s not often that one sticks out so much as this. As those of us still stuck on earth saw Kanye shift away from the tight-fitting, preppy ‘808s’ era, and enter his Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, the arguable magnum opus of Mr. West, the album’s themes of celebdom and the grandiose excess that comes with the territory were epitomised by a piece unique backpack that was designed by Ye himself in collaboration with the elusive luxury brand Goyard at Paris fashion week in 2010.

As it is already near impossible to score Goyard on the regular, for Kanye to have commissioned the firm for a one of one rucksack was an impressive feat in itself, dubbed the “Robot Face” backpack, the design takes its name from the two square pockets and horizontal zip that mimic the visage of a robot, a small “K” signature sits on the bottom right corner of the pack, which is made from fine leather and silver hardware.

The bag had seemingly disappeared until early last year, when it surfaced and sold for $55,000 on the website of notorious esoterica vendor Justin Reed, who (surprise surprise) is once again selling the piece for just under double its previous list price at £100,000.
