Kith x New Balance Returns for FW22

It is widely agreed upon that New Balance is dominating the kick game right now, however, before the mass hype ensued, when New Balance was still the connoisseur’s choice, it was a small New York firm that had suede runners locked down, aka: Kith - the vicariously cinematic imprint headed by Ronnie Fieg that season after season, delivers undeniably wearable renditions of classic 990 silhouettes.

Avid NB gremlins might remember the Kith exclusive 990v3 “Tornado”, which released late last year, flying under the radar of culture vultures and straight onto the feet of true New Balance faithfuls world over, being hailed for its simple, yet ineffably pleasing presentation - a theme that rings true to the latest New Balance collaboration to be teased by Kith, stealing the spotlight from their FW22 campaign.

The two-feature pack showcases tonal renditions of the 990v3 and v2 silhouettes, with the first reimagining New Balance’s “CL” colourway for modern purposes, with greyish-blue suede uppers set against a lighter blue mesh, outlining the ‘N‘ logo and filling the 990 branding on the heel.

The 990v2 arrives in pigskin suede, dressed in a light beige “Tannin” palette that stands defiant besides a silver ‘N’ logo and black midsole detailing.
