Levi’s & Born x Raised Connect on Sentimental Capsule

Now a certified staple of the streetwear scene, L.A brand Born x Raised has quite the packed slate for the coming months. Not only is its long-awaited Nike SB Dunk Low collaboration looming but the print-heavy approach of BxR is first being transposed onto a collection of Levi’s denim garments.

The collaboration lines up with the 150th anniversary of Levi’s culture-defining 501 Jeans and aside from that, also acts as a homage to Born x Raised founder Chris Spanto’s late father Butch, who was part of a longstanding dynasty of proud Apache and Seneca tribes, all of whom are being honoured in Spanto’s latest work with Levi’s.

Iconography related to Spanto’s lineage is prevalent across trousers, jackets and tees. The patches reference angels, with further embellishments of olde style Born x Raised lettering appearing tonally on the rear of a selvedge Levi’s trucker jacket and grey hooded sweatshirt.
