Lorenz.OG Delivers Colourful ACS Pro + Model in Maiden Collaboration with Salomon

Very rarely do those on the fringes get brought into the fold, especially in the sneaker industry, where custom work is often seen as taboo - but in Salomon’s latest partnership with designer Lorenz.OG, the French sportswear imprint is embracing its newfound hype by enlisting a master of colour to uplift one of its recently debuted silhouettes.

The Salomon ACS Pro + is a modern update to its OG predecessor that retains the brutalist aesthetic albeit with a more streamlined design that empowers the futuristic elements found within the shoe.

The model arrived shortly after the preliminary ACS Pro made its resurgence and in order to propel the sophomore version, Salomon is throwing the shoe through a mixer filled with vibrant pigmentation, courtesy of Lorenz.OG who has a wealth of experience to draw on when it comes to tasteful customisation.

Lorenz has previously worked on solo efforts with Arc’teryx jackets, Nike x CDG Air Max Sunders, Stüssy Air Force 1’s and other minimalistic articles that benefit from a soft hint of warm colour.

His latest *official* work on Salomon’s ACS Pro + takes the once-white base and adds shades of purple, yellow, vanilla and lavender to emulate those dreamy spring nights, dubbing the colourway as “Dusk” - an apt title for a shoe that truly depicts natural beauty.

A limited number of pairs are available at the duo’s exhibition in Paris with information yet to be publicised as to when the collaboration between Salomon x Lorenz.OG will see public release.
